Krept & Konan are an English hip-hop/grime duo hailing from South London, consisting of Casyo 'Krept' Johnson and Karl 'Konan' Wilson.
Both have been involved in the music scene since mid-2000, but formed their partnership in 2009, releasing the mixtape 'Red Rum' the same year, and 'Tsunami' in 2010. The duo got their break thanks to their third collection, 2013's 'Young Kingz', which reached the Top 20 in the UK Album Chart, helping them cross from the underground to the mainstream. That year they also won the MOBO Award for Best Newcomer and signed to Virgin EMI. Their debut album, 'The Long Way Home' came out in July 2015, with two mixtapes — '7 Days' and '7 Nights' — following in 2017. Since then they've released a number of standalone singles and provided guest verses for other artists' tracks. Krept & Konan have lined up a UK and Ireland tour for January 2020, including a huge London show at the O2 Arena.
